Calum Hey: Teaching Professional

Hailing from Leeds, UK, Calum has successfully coached in Australia at the prestigious Cape Wickham Golf Links, before joining the Metropolitan team in 2023.
Actively engaged in coaching many of Metropolitan’s Development Programs, Calum is proving invaluable in private and group tuition and also is available for playing lessons on request.
Calum is available for tuition on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Oliver Pearson: Teaching Professional

Oliver Pearson, or Ollie to most, is a fully qualified PGA member having successfully completed his training as a PGA Associate here at Metropolitan. As well as 1:1 private coaching, Ollie specialises in women’s beginner clinics and women’s intermediate program coaching, and is superb in delivering MyGolf and school holiday coaching sessions.
Ollie is available for private and group tuition on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and is actively engaged as one of our Program Pathways coaches.

Nick Sapet: Teaching Professional

Nick is Metropolitan’s Golf Operations Manager, responsible for our golf calendar of events and liaison to the Match Committee. In addition to these important responsibilities, Nick is also an outstanding coach!

Brian Twite: Teaching Professional
PGA Status: Certified Coach
Achievements: OAM, Victorian PGA Hall of Fame
Brian is a treasure of the club and a life member. He was our Club Professional from 1955-1994 and in that time has given his many thousands of students knowledge that stays with them for a lifetime. Brian was recognised by the Governor General in the Australia Day Honors list in 2013, receiving the Order of Australia for his services to the game of golf. In the same year he was inducted into the Victorian PGA Hall of Fame for his many years of service to the game. Brian is still passionate about the game of golf and plays or teaches every day in his 90th year.
Brian is available for tuition on Mondays and Fridays from 9am to 4pm and Wednesdays from 9-11am
