INTRODUCTION
After receiving guidance from governing bodies, the Professional staff at Metropolitan will be available to individual tuition from Monday 18th May.
Current operations allow for member only tuition.
The coaching team are mindful of the current restrictions on social distancing on safe hygiene practices and several regulations will be implemented for tuition including,
- Coaches will be the only people to touch or handle electronic equipment used throughout the sessions
- The sitting room will be used to analyse the specific action. The coach and student will stand at appropriate distances while analysing
- The Coach will bring their own clubs and equipment to demonstrate any action.
- Hand sanitiser will be available for the coach and student at the beginning and end
- All equipment will be washed down at the completion of each coaching session.
- If any students feel the need to wear further protective equipment they may do so.
GROUP TUITION
A further decision is to be made around the re-commencement of group tuition. When group tuition begins, Coaches will be strictly capping clinics at 8 participants per session and social distancing guidelines will be implemented throughout the sessions. These clinics include:
- Women’s 12-month Tuition Program
- Women’s Beginner Program
- Junior MyGolf Clinics
- Saturday Cadet Clinics
UPCOMING PROGRAMS
There are several programs the Golf Professionals at Metropolitan have been hard at work planning for the re-commencement of golf. These offerings will hopefully allow all Members to quickly find their groove post lockdown.

Stuart is back available for tuition most Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
In anticipation for the return of group tuition, Stuart is hosting a number of classes starting early June.
